U.S. continues its support to ITF activities in Kosovo

ITF Enhancing Human Security (ITF) has signed today an Amendment to Grant Agreement with the Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs. With this Amendment an additional $100.000,00 US will be provided for ITF activities in Kosovo. The ITF will use the funds for the additional capacity-building activity of Kosovo Mine Action Center.

The U.S. continues to be a major supporter of ITF activities, maintaining excellent cooperation with ITF from 1998 – since the inception of ITF. During the last 15 years, the U.S. has contributed more than 167,8 million USD to ITF for various mine action and conventional weapons destruction projects in the region of South East Europe and wider.
