Theatre Daska succesfully concluded 61 stagings of MRE theatre play “NE, NE…MI-NE”

16.05.2011
With close cooperation of Theatre Daska with CROMAC, Croatian Red Cross and financial support of USDoS, Theatre Daska successfully concluded 61 stagings of mine risk education theatre play “NE, NE…MI-NE” around the Croatia.

When Theatre Daska was writing the project proposal they have foreseen 50 stagings and anticipated that 2.000 children and teachers would participate in the project. However, through interesting interactive theatre play which features two characters; a Scarecrow, a slightly absent-minded and reckless character, and a De-miner, MRE message was forwarded to more than 7.800 children of primary school grades and adults in the period of one year and a half. Theatre Daska has with project “NE, NE…MI-NE” demonstrated a good practice of how to spread MRE message to the communities living in landmine contaminated areas.
