Partnership for the development of MDD capacity in Azerbaijan

Goran Ga?nik, director of ITF, Nazim Ismaylov, Director of ANAMA, and Nermin Hadzimujagic, Director of MDDC, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the maintaining and development of Mine Detection Dog (MDD) capacity in Azerbaijan for 2008.

The MoU presents framework plan for cooperation between stakeholders in this field of Mine Action. Additional aims of the Memorandum include sharing of new techniques and experiences in the field of MDD through exchange of personnel and further reinforcement of the MDD role in the Humanitarian Mine Action.
