Opening of demining activities at the location Ugorsko 3 in Vogošća

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands Embassy in Sarajevo, H.E. Mr. Karel E. Vosskϋhler officially opened demining activities at the location Ugorsko 3 in Vogoš?a on Monday, 08 August 2005.The ceremony was attended by representatives of the United Nations Development Program in BIH, BIH Government and International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance.
The Kingdom of Netherlands Government through United Nations Development Program in BIH donated 300.000,00 USD for demining activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Memorandum of Undrestanding between UNDP and ITF was signed on 23 February 2005.
ITF announced tender for execution of demining works which includes three demining Contracts. Donation will be matched by the Government of the United States of America and will be also used for support to mine clearance activities across the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
