Norway again contributed 4,2 million USD to ITF

ITF has again received the Kingdom of Norway donation for 2004 in amount of 4.231.807,82 USD. The Memorandum of Understanding was presented on 26 March 2004, at ITF Headquarters-Ig. H.E. Mrs May Britt Brofoss, Ambassador of Kingdom of Norway in Slovenia, and Mr Jernej Cimperšek, Acting Director of ITF,signed this, already the sixth, donation of Kingdom of Norway. It shall be used for demining activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. Part of the donation, in amount of 145.000 USD will also be earmarked for the program of rehabilitation of mine victims. In the past six years, Kingdom of Norway has donated more than 22,6 million USD and is, thus, the second biggest donor to ITF besides US.
