Maintenance and repairs of Schonstedt locators

On 19 July 2013 training »Maintenance and repairs of Schonstedt locators« was finished which was held in EOD Company in Prizren for last 14 days for 4 Kosovo Security Forces participants. Training was executed by implementing agency MAT Mondial. In August 2013 similar training in repairs and maintenance for same participants will be organized for Vallon metal detectors. With both trainings KSF participants would be able to make smaller repairs and all other necessary maintenance on Schonstedt locators and Vallon detectors what will contribute to better use of all available resources within KSF.

Funds for training implementation were provided by U.S. Department of State's Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement. The certificates on course completion at the ceremony today were given to the training participants by two U.S. Embassy Pristina representatives – Mr. Michael Kriedler, Political Military Officer and Mr. Thomas Melton, Military Attache.
