ITF representatives presented ITF activities and plans to OSCE

ITF representatives visited OSCE Headquarters in Vienna with the purpose to introduce work of ITF and discuss about possibilities of cooperation between the two organizations. ITF would like to transfer its knowledge in the field of Mine Action accumulated  from the region of SE Europe to the regions of South Caucasus and Central Asia. OSCE is already strongly involved in both regions, South Caucasus and Central Asia regions respectively. Some OSCE member states were interested to support ITF pojects dealing with training of locals and activities promoting confidence building through mine action among nations of the respected regions.
Official visit was also used for presentation of ITF work and program for 2005/06 to Embassies covering Slovenia from Vienna.
Main event during the visit, ITF presentation and photo exhibition of renown Slovenian photographer Mr. Arne Hodali?, was hosted by the Mission of the Republic of Slovenia to OSCE in Vienna.
