ITF meets US Senator Amy Klobuchar

During the annual visit of ITF in Washington D.C., where ITF presented its achievements and future plans to the US Congress, ITF representatives used the opportunity of their visit to the US Congress and met with US Senator Amy Klobuchar for the first time. During the meeting ITF representatives informed the Senator about the results acomplished by ITF in 2007 and ITF plans for 2008-2010.

Senator Klobuchar was pleasantly surprised with the ITF results and expressed her support to the future work of ITF. At the end of the meeting the representatives of ITF extended to the Senator their invitation to visit the International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victim Assistance in Slovenia and get into the activities of ITF in the field of Mine Action.
