ITF and Armenian Humanitarian Demining Centre will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

ITF Project Manager for Central Asia and South Caucasus, Mr Luka Buhin has been these days, among other things, on a businees trip in Republic of Armenia. The purpose of the visit has been to strenghten cooperation between ITF and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia in the field of humanitarian demining and mine victim assistance.

On 14 December 2010, ITF representative Mr Buhin had a meeting at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, where he welcomed the reforms undertaken by the Ministry in the field of humanitarian demining, and stressed the opportunity to develop closer cooperation with Armenian Humanitarian Demining Centre.
 
Participants in the meeting agreed on signing the memorandum of cooperation between the ITF and the Armenian Humanitarian Demining Centre in January 2011 and welcomed future cooperation and struggle for common objective, which is mine free Armenia and better life of mine victims.
