German Military Attache Field Visit to Bujanovac, Serbia

Military Attache Lieutenant Colonel Ulrich Timmermann, German Embassy Serbia visited demining site Turijsko Brdo 1 in Municipality Bujanovac in Southern Serbia on 13 November 2012. ITF Project Manager Mr Roman Turši?, MAC Serbia representative Mr Ilija Stanisavljevic and implementing agency NGO Stop Mines representative Mr Radosav Živkovi? presented the site organization, works and developments on site. Representatives of Municipality Bujanovac were also present during the visit and expressed great appreciation toward Germany for their donation, which is of great importance for local community. With clearance of mines conditions for safer movement and use of cleraed land by local inhabitants would be provided.

German Military Attache Lieutenant Colonel Ulrich Timmermann expressed satisfaction with actual progress on site and underlined that German Goverment will try to support such good projects  also in the future.
