British Embassy in Slovenia supports global 'Lend Your Leg' Campaign

30.03.2012

British Ambassador to Slovenia Andrew Page rolled up his pant leg in support of global ban of landmines use.

The 'Lend Your Leg' is campaign against the use of landmines. It runs globally from March 1st until April 4th when United Nation observes the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action.

The UK is one of ITF donors that strongly support our commitment to mitigating the effects of landmines and cluster munitions. ITF has joined the international campaign against landmines with implementation of national campaign 'Posodi svojo nogo'.
