2nd ITF coordination meeting in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On 19 May 2011 ITF organized in cooperation with the Demining Commission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Second „ITF Coordination Meeting“, where ITF representatives presented achievements in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2010 and perspectives for the period 2011-2013. The meeting was held in  the premises of Hotel Europa in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and was attended by representatives of different Embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina,  EU Delagation in BH, UNDP, EUFOR, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BH MAC and Demining Commission for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
 
Mr Dorijan Marši?, ITF Director, Mr Goran Ga?nik, ITF Deputy Director and Mr Roman Turši?, Head of ITF Implementation Office in Sarajevo presented ITF results achieved in 2010, with special emphasis on achievements in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as strategic goals and plans for period 2011-2013. 

Mr Dorijan Marši? pointed out that in 2010 ITF has implemented over 13 million U.S. dollars of donor funds in Bosnia and Herzegovina
and cleared over 4,7 milion square meters of mine affected land. ITF, with the support of 26 donor countries, international organizations and private donors achieved the status of the biggest donor Mine Action organisation in Bosnia and Herzegovina
